Death Makes Me ThinkYou have to admit, whether you loved him, hated him, or frankly didn’t give a damn, his death is an iconic moment in the world. An era has ended; one of the people who influenced the music world so heavily has passed on. And seeing the frenzy that it has put people in kind of makes you think. There are people gathered at UCLA Hospital and the Apollo. People have cried to the point of inducing pounding headaches while others are still staring in shock-filled daze at the news coverage. The New HorizonShe longed for escape. She was convinced that there was nothing for her where she was.   
Searching around the room, she picked up a few books, and placed them on a cloth in the middle of the room.   
Everything in her life felt grievously wrong. She wasn't even sure what her purpose was anymore.   
Needle and spools of thread, measuring tape, scraps of old clothing. She placed them along with the books on the cloth.   
She fought herself for months before this point. One moment she would feel like the world was before her, the next like she was condemned to stay in her house forever. Her life felt like The New Horizon

The Perfect NightShe felt as if everything trapped her; the walls of her room, the structure of the house, the neighborhood, the county, the state. She felt ensnared in her situation, but wasn’t sure why. Everything around her agitated her spirit; the car passing by on the road, the silence after its passing, the ticking of the clock going slower, then faster, and then back to slow. ImpossibleI have an announcement to make:   
Being a Christian is impossible.   
I have only started to tell people this when I got to college, but I was feeling this for a while: I felt separated. Though I was the Youth leader in my church, participated in BASIC [Brothers and Sisters in Christ], went on a mission trip to Mexico that summer, and everything else that sounded good and holy, I felt like I was doing it more out of duty than anything else. Every time I thought of my spiritual life, I saw an image of Jesus, and me standing over 10 feet away from Him, shouting something over to Him, but the wind taking it away. If you aske Impossible

Finally got a wallet up

Even though it's not the same wallet I made before. Oh well, what can ya do. This one is better anyway. Experience is a good teacher.

Just wanted to say that. The rain is beating on the windows, wind blowing it this way and that, the thunder softly chanting, the lightning flashing and then scurrying away, and I am embracing my inner Iroh by drinking some hot tea before i go to sleep. yep.

In other news, my birthday's next week. I just realized this last Sunday when others say they realized it 2 weeks before that. So everyone's counting down to when I'm 18 but me. Why am i so apathetic about it? Eh.

Anyway, i'm going to finish my tea. See ya.
